From ‘The Western Daily Mercury’- 14th March 1877 Emigration from Plymouth is, I understand, to be greatly increased. The Agent General for New Zealand has determined to send all his vessels to this port to embark passengers, and after June next we may expect three per month. Somewhat in anticipation of this considerable alterations are being made at the Depot, Lambhay Point, at which place all the people will be located previous to embarkation. | |
