From ‘The Western Daily Mercury’- 15th August 1879 Mrs Watson, the matron of the Emigration Depot, kindly treated the young women passengers of the ‘Pericles’ to a pleasant trip up the River Tamar yesterday afternoon in the saloon-steamer ‘Lily’. | |
