MASTER HAND | The ‘Master Hand’ was in Timber Pond at Torpoint. She was built as a Lowestoft trawler in 1920 by G. Smith Ltd of Rye. Her registered measurements were 70•4 feet long by 18•7 feet breath, with a depth of 9•1 feet. Gross tonnage 58•78. In 1947 a twin-screw motor was installed and the registry was transferred to Brixham in July 1947. She had been in Timber Pond from about 1976. |
