Fitted with Captain Robert's sling carriage.
She will carry a 13-inch mortar slung, thus preserving its elevation in heavy seas. The weight of the mortar is five tons. It will fire a shall weighing 200 lb., the charge being 20 lb. off powder.
History:19th October 1855. Renamed 'MV 4'.
16th December 1863. Completed as a landing stage at Chatham.
1865. Broken up at Malta.
